The Last Few Weeks

Wow, time sure flies when you are having fun!! The last few weeks have been pretty eventful to say the least. My sister came to visit with our cousins, Kim, Shayle and Cache. It was a super quick visit but we sure had a fabulous time!! They came in on Friday evening and Saturday we got up bright and early and went had a photo shoot for Briche's senior pictures, it was sooo much fun, Colleen and Catie came and joined us girls, so Andrea, myself, Kimberly, Shayle, Cheyenne, Briche, Colleen and Catie and of course little Cache made our way out to these old mines that had a bunch of graffiti on them and Andrea took Briche's pictures...boy was it a hike and our sister Colleen was a trooper, she hiked that baby in heels!!

After Andrea took these fabulous pictures we returned home to the dad's (Jared and Steve) were home alone withe the boys! Ha! We had lunch then took off as a family and had some fun pictures taken as well, here are a few of those.

Then Elijah has asked for several weeks since we got our puppy to take him to his school and show him off so Auntie A and I took our puppy Jager to see Eli at school

We had a great time!!

After company had gone and we were back on our daily schedule, I got a very scary call from Branden's bus, they said he was sick and purple in the face and they had pulled over and called an ambulance, so I left work frantically, ( I am certain they think I am a nut case at work) and Steve left in a hurry going towards the spot where they pulled over, luckily it was right in front of the school district office. Once Steve got there, Branden was a little more alert and vitals were good, so Steve opted to take him to the doctor himself, so I met him at Dr. Penrod's office. They did an EKG on him and did a blood panel on him as well. The blood results came in and we found out he has issues with his thyroid so when he was sleeping on the bus with his jacket over his head, he heart was beating slower and therefore, his breathing was slower and he was turning purple due to lack of oxygen. SCARY!! But he is now on medicine and hopefully will not have to experience that again. I am so thankful for a bus driver that takes the time to take such good care of our kiddos!!

To end on a fun note, Cheyenne is in the production company at her school and had a lead role in the play "Patient" by Agatha Christy. She played Dr. Ginsburg, and did a great job! Here is a small bit of what she did!
