We had such a great day yesterday, Branden graduated from High School. He looked absolutely awesome in his cap and gown, he participated so well and we are all so proud of him! Next year he will go back to Salem Hills for "College" and learn independent living. They will help him get job training as well. He will do this for four years, just like any other college student. This is a huge step for Branden and we look forward to seeing him move forward and mature. Great things in store for that kiddo!
We will definitely miss Mrs. Wilder, Branden has attended her class for two years and she and he have a great friendship. She loves and understands that kiddo so much and she has been a faithful believer in him to the very end, she was there to greet him when he got to the school, and watched him as he sat and participated in the graduation ceremony, and then found us directly afterward, we love her and appreciate her very much.
Branden being so great as he waits to get his certificate, he will not get his diploma until he finishes his four years with Mr. Shoemaker. But this is still such a great accomplishment for him!
Still waiting for his name to be called with his fellow classmates.
What a great day...we have many more to come! :)
